This sweet girl and her adoptive brother were left at an empty residence inside crates on the front porch. No food, no water. She was picked by animal control where we were able to pick her up after a neighbor had alerted us to the situation. She is up to date on vet care and will be microchipped.

This sweet girl was rescued by a nurse at ECU Medical who watched her get dumped from a car and almost ran over. She is so loving and sweet and has the most striking yellow eyes. She is up to date on vet care and will be microchipped before leaving.

Let me tell you about Roxie. This sweet girl was brought to us from her family in Charlotte the day of our big event. She was nervous, shy and just wanted to be by herself. That night she spent the entire night on one of our dining room chairs and did not want to interact or eat. By the next morning her playfulness started to come out, the smile began on her face and it hasn’t stopped! She has done amazing! She is great with kids, other dogs of all shapes and sizes and cats. She’s quiet, does not get into anything she shouldn’t and just wants to be your shadow, often times leaning on you to show you she’s there but also to keep that connection. She would do great in any household, we have no complaints or concerns. She has fit right in with ease among our chaos and I’m sure will have no problem adjusting to her new forever home. We don’t usually take guys this size in but her temperment is so wonderful that she became an exception. We want the best for this sweet girl. If you are interested in adoption, please reach out!

Ok guys, a foster and/or adopter is needed for this handsome boy! His name is Bruno. We are unsure of age, he appears to be underweight but otherwise healthy. Poor guy was dumped in the middle of nowhere. We’re told he’s super sweet and gets along well with kids and other dogs. He has not been tested with cats yet. Currently he’s in Aurora but the person who found him is willing to bring him to his new home. Please reach out if able to foster and share to help spread the word!

Her rescuer wanted her to be a cat for a change, to be in a home where she was someone’s pet and not the mama to another litter of kittens. She is sweet but not a big fan of a lot of affection, she will let you know when she’s had enough. She would do best in a home with not a lot of activity. She will tolerate other cats and dogs but probably won’t become their friend. She is fully vetted and will be microchipped before she leaves.
